Welcome to FlyTy, a premium typing platform founded by Abhinav Pandey and Abhishek Saxena. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with transparency, care, and respect. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that data when you access or use flyty.in.
We collect information you provide directly (such as when you create an account), information generated automatically through your use of the Platform, and limited information obtained from third-party authentication providers. This includes your email address, display name, profile avatar, typing session data including WPM and accuracy, learning progress, challenge participation, and device/browser information.
FlyTy supports sign-in via Google and GitHub OAuth. When you authenticate, we receive a limited set of profile information — typically your email address, display name, and profile picture. We do not access your Google Drive, GitHub repositories, or any data beyond the basic profile fields required for authentication.
To deliver meaningful progress tracking, personalized analytics, and accurate leaderboard rankings, we record data from each of your typing sessions including WPM, accuracy, raw speed, and test duration. Your typing and learning data is stored securely and associated only with your account.
FlyTy uses browser local storage and session storage to save your preferences such as your selected theme and typing test settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or invasive analytics scripts.
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the FlyTy platform. We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
FlyTy relies on Supabase for database storage, authentication, and real-time features. We also use Google OAuth and GitHub OAuth for optional sign-in.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which implements industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact the FlyTy team.
FlyTy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
